Over the last couple of years this site has alhamdulillah been a benefit to many. In an effort to make learning about Dubai from a Muslim perspective much more user friendly all content can now be found at

The site contains all of the information previously found here regarding Muslim life in Dubai. The comments area was beginning to be a little tough to navigate and so the most exciting aspect of the new site is the forums. There users can ask questions, make recommendations and leave comments on any topic in an organized and easily navigated format. So do register and actively participate in the forum! Also I am looking for moderators for each forum category – as a moderator you will be informed of all new posts to that topic and your role will be to keep an eye on posts to ensure they do not offend forum rules, as well as be an active participant for the category you are in charge of. This will ensure the forum has a number of active participants who will make the forum more varied and lively. So if there is a category which you have particular knowledge of or interest in, do let me know and I’ll add you on as a moderator.
Additionally if you know of any classes or activities you would like to advertise, email me the details and I will add them to the What’s On section of the new website.
Please do forward this link to any Muslim expat living in Dubai or thinking of emigrating to the UAE. And any feedback / ways to improve the new site would be greatly appreciated! I pray that you’ll find the new site even better and more helpful than the old.
